FuelSavvy collects only the minimum information needed to function:
When you grant location permission, we use your device's location to show nearby fuel stations and calculate distances. Location is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to deliver price alert notifications. This generates a random identifier for your device with no personal information attached. It is used solely to deliver notifications you have requested and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated data about feature usage — such as which fuel types are viewed and how often features are used. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.
Stations, dates, litres, prices, and vouchers you record are stored locally on your device using secure app storage. This data is not synced to any external server.
Default fuel type, home location, work location, vehicle consumption, and Worth-It preferences are stored locally on your device.
If you subscribe to FuelSavvy Pro, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not see or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements — RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your subscription state but no personal payment information.

Fuel prices are sourced from FuelWatch, a Government of Western Australia service. We are not affiliated with FuelWatch. Their privacy policy applies to their service.
Map tiles are provided by Mapbox. When the app loads the map, your IP address is shared with Mapbox to serve map tiles. Mapbox's privacy policy applies.
We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to enable push notifications for price alerts, and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised feature usage data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Firebase. Google's privacy policy applies.
Subscription management for FuelSavvy Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription state. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies.
When you launch navigation in Waze or Google Maps, the destination address is passed to those apps. Their privacy policies apply. Payment for Pro subscriptions is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we do not receive payment details.
All personal preferences and fuel log data are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. We retain no copies.
An anonymous device identifier used for push notifications is stored in Firebase and deleted when you uninstall the app.
